About dragon fruit
Personally, I’ve come across two types: one with pink skin and white flesh, and another with pink skin and red flesh. However, there are two additional varieties – one with pink skin and purple flesh, and another with yellow skin and white flesh, although these can be somewhat elusive to find.
I have a fondness for smoothies and greatly enjoy experimenting with new recipes. They offer a wonderfully nutritious breakfast option, requiring no hassle of slicing or cooking.
Presenting a wholesome recipe that demands just a handful of key ingredients.
Ingredients For Dragon Fruit Smoothie
1. Medium-sized dragon fruits-3
While my quest for pink-fleshed dragon fruit led me to procure the white-fleshed variety, don’t worry, as the white one works perfectly well too.

2.Ripe frozen bananas -2
I recommend freezing two peeled bananas for a duration of 4 to 6 hours. This frosty touch lends a velvety consistency to the smoothie.

3 Milk-2Cups
Should you prefer a vegan approach, various plant-based milk alternatives are at your disposal. However, traditional cow’s milk is a suitable choice as well. In this particular concoction, I opted for almond milk, resulting in a delightful flavour.

4.Sweetness
As desired, using options like dates, maple syrup, or jaggery (optional).
5.Chocolate powder-3tsp
I have a strong affinity for the taste of chocolate, so I decided to incorporate 3 teaspoons of chocolate powder into my smoothie.
In my rendition, I embraced the innate sweetness of the ingredients, forgoing the addition of any extra sweeteners. Ripe bananas serve as a natural enhancement to the overall sweetness.
For an extra nutritional boost, consider incorporating nut butter or a selection of seeds, such as chia seeds or flax seeds.
Feel free to experiment with these enriching elements to further elevate the nutritional profile of your smoothie.
