TOFU
Tofu, also known as bean curd, is a popular ingredient in many East Asian and Southeast Asian cuisines. It is made by coagulating soy milk and then pressing the resulting curds into solid white blocks of varying softness. INGREDIENTS

- Tofu-300gram
- 2 onion diced
- 1 diced tomato
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1 inch ginger
- 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 tsp mustard seeds
- 1 tsp ground coriander
- 1/4 tsp ground turmeric
- 1/2 tsp chilli powder(You can increase according to the spice level)
- 1/2 tsp garam masala
- 1 tsp salt-Add according to the taste
- Hand full of chopped coriander leaves(Optional)
- 1/2 tsp Dried fenugreek leaves(Kasuri methi)(Optional)
For tofu marination
- 1 tbs black pepper
- 1 tbs ground coriander
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp chilli powder
- 1/2 tsp garam masala
- 1/2 tsp salt
RECIPE
1.Marination of Tofu and frying
Begin by marinating the tofu with black pepper, ground coriander, turmeric powder, chilli powder, garam masala, and salt. Set aside for 15-20 minutes.
After 20 minutes airfry for 30 minutes or pan fry until golden brown on both sides
2.Making Masala/Curry paste
- In a pan add 2 tablespoon of oil, add 2 onion diced onion and saute until soft. Then add 1 diced tomato until soft. Add 2-3 cloves of garlic, 1 inch ginger saute well. Add the spices 1 tsp ground coriander,1/4 tsp ground turmeric,1/2 tsp chilli powder,1/2 tsp garam masala. Cook until the raw smell disappears. Then leave until the mixture is cool.
- Once mixture is cooled add 1 -2 tbs water and blend well.
3.Making Curry
- In the same pan add 1 tsp oil, add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, let it splutter
- Pour the blended mixture along with 1/2 to 1 cup of water as per your desired thickness for the curry. Let it boil for 1-2 minutes add 1 tsp salt mix well, add the fried tofu.
- Mix well, add hand full of chopped coriander, 1/2 tsp dried fenugreek leaves and cover and simmer for 15 minutes.
- After 15 minutes your tasty tofu curry is ready
4.Serving
Serve the delicious Indian-style Tofu Curry with naan, rice, or your favorite accompaniment.

3. Making Curry .
Once the mixture is cooled blend well adding 1-2 tbs of water. In the same pan add 1 tbs oil, add cumin seeds, mustard seeds and let it splutter. Then add blended masala paste along withwater and let it boil for 1-2 minutes. Add tofu, coriander leaves, dried fenugreek leaves and cover and simmer for 10-15 minutes.







4. Tofu curry is ready. Serve the delicious Indian-style Tofu Curry with naan, rice, or your favorite accompaniment.

- In the fridge. Store the prepared Indian-style Tofu Curry in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3-4 days.
